Amaco Ceramic Glazes are reliable, predictable and easy to use. Amaco Glazes offer a wide variety of colors and effects for electric and reduction firing. Many Amaco pottery glazes are lead free and classroom safe.

Amaco manufactures over 500 glazes, underglazes, and overglazes with firing ranges from Cone 022 to Cone 5. Many colors will also fire to Cone 10. Each glaze or underglaze series offers its own unique appearance giving the artist unlimited creative expression.

82% of all Amaco glazes and 97% of all Amaco underglazes are AP NON-TOXIC making them safe to use by students as well as professional artists.
In addition, 94.6% of Amaco Glazes are LEAD FREE!.

Low Fire Glazes - cone 05/06

Teacher's Choice (TC) Glazes Available in eight 100% intermixable colors, Teacher's Choice™ (TC) gloss glazes offer limitless color for limited budgets.	Teacher's Palette (TP) Glazes Available in 16 fully intermixable colors, Teacher's Palette™ (TP) gloss glazes offer limitless color for limited budgets.	Gloss (LG) Glazes Amaco Gloss Glazes flow slightly during firing to achieve a smooth, high gloss finish. Firing temperature is Cone 05.
Matt (LM) Glazes AMACO LM Matt Glazes are nonflowing which allows them to produce unique types of decoration.	Alligator (LT) Textured Glazes If you're looking for a low fire Cone 05 glaze that produces unlimited textures during firing, try Amaco Textured Alligator glazes.	F-Series (F) Glazes are semi-opaque and produce a high gloss when fired to Cone 05. Recommended for pottery dishes as well as all types of decorative pottery.

Arroya glazes are textured and produce a unique carved effect when fired. Recommended firing temperature is Cone 05-6.
Crystaltex (CTL) Glazes Amaco Crystaltex Cone 05 Glazes feature a base color with the addition of one or more crystals of contrasting colors for unique multi-color effects.	Overdrift Specialty Glaze Overdrift is a specialty glaze that is opaque, frosty white, is a heavy in consistency, and its strong white opacity partially modifies the color tint of the base glaze. Firing temperature is Cone 05.	TL-1 Texturizer Specialty TL-1 Texturizer creates various textures when applied over or between coats of any Cone 05 glaze.
Snowfluff Specialty Glaze This unique white foaming type glaze is completely matte and produces a fluffy, textured effect. Cone 05 Snowfluff can also be mixed other products for unusual and colorful effects.	White Crawl Specialty Glaze This unique Cone 05 glaze will create irregular patterns which vary by the thickness of the application.	White Pebble Glaze Amaco White Pebble creates a pebbly appearance as it breaks up into a pattern resembling pearl tapioca after firing. Recommended firing temperature is Cone 05.

High Fire Glazes - cone 5/6

Sahara High Fire (Cone 5-6) Glazes -- LEAD FREE Sahara High Fire Glazes produce interesting effects when fired in reduction as well as in oxidation and are compounded to match porcelain and stoneware bodies.	Celebration High Fire (Cone 5-6) Glazes -- LEAD FREE Bright and pastel glazes for stoneware that are as colorful as earthenware glazes.	Pompeian Ash High Fire (Cone 5-6) Glazes -- LEAD FREE These glazes produce a wiggly pattern at Cone 5-6 that is similar to ash glazes that have to be fired to Cone 10.
Potter's Choice High Fire (Cone 5-6) Glazes -- LEAD FREE 3 NEW COLORS! Amaco Potter's Choice glazes achieve the effects of Cone 10 reduction without the need for a reduction gas kiln or firi	TH-1 High Fire (Cone 5-6) Texturizer TH-1 is a rutile based texturizer. In superposition with other glazes it tends to produce a yellowish/orange crystal-type texture.

Underglazes

Designer Velvet (DV) Underglazes -- LEAD FREE Designer Velvets are semi-translucent underglazes like Amaco Velvets with the addition of small specks. Unglazed, they create the appearance of velvet or velour with a soft speckle effect.	Sun Strokes (SS) Brilliant Underglaze Colors -- LEAD FREE Six intense underglazes colors specifically formulated for Cone 06-05 in oxidation and raku firings -- with or without a clear glaze.
Liquid Underglaze (LUG) Decorating Colors -- LEAD FREE AMACO Liquid Underglaze Decorating Colors are intense, opaque colors ideal for covering large areas quickly, easily and smoothly. They can also be used for detailed painting, sgraffito decoration, water color effects, free brush painting, wax resists and mishima decoration.	Semi-Moist Underglaze Decorating Colors -- LEAD FREE AMACO Semi-Moist Underglaze Decorating Colors are concentrated, intense, and opaque and are suitable for many types of ceramic painting. They are especially good for water color effects and painting of fine detail.	Underglaze Chalk Crayons -- LEAD FREE From intense hues to pastel tones, Amaco Underglaze Chalk Crayons can be used as is, sharpened for fine detail or dissolved in water for painting or spraying.

Apply the underglaze pencil to bisque ware to create a variety of unique decorative designs.
